John Choi - Managing Partner

John started his career in information design/architecture working at industry leading studios in New York, Los Angeles and even Beijing. Intrigued by the technology side of information and analytics, following business school, he worked 20+ years in analytics technology focused on emerging database and analytics technologies. As an P&L executive at IBM, he lead the creation of a $150m+ Big Data and Analytics segment. He also led M&A and corporate development for the $1B analytics solutions business closing over $2.5B and acquisitions, divestitures and IP licensing deals. John's industry focus areas include energy, telco, financial services, and media.

As Managing Partner at Arbor Street, John has been working with start up companies, private companies and private equities on acquisitions, IP licensing, business strategy, pricing strategy, and private placements in the technology and real estate industries.

John received his BA and MBA from Yale University. Outside of work, John enjoys fishing, golf, carpentry, auto repair and trying to get his children to enjoy his hobbies with him.

David Mowrey - Managing Partner

Dave is a CEO/GM, Chief Product Officer, board advisor and startup founder & investor with expertise across SaaS software, broadcast & streaming video, generative AI, and broadcast media technologies. He builds enterprise value and accelerates revenue by finding new revenue streams through new product development, business development, strategic partnerships and building highly effective global teams. Dave was Chief Product Officer at SaaS video platform startup Clearleap which was sold to IBM in late 2015.  

Dave has a BS in Electrical & Biomedical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and lives in Atlanta with his wife and three boys.
